I figure I would post here (since I’m spamming all other mediums anyways) that the Call For Paper for NOTACON 8 is officially open. For those of you who don’t know, it’s an amazing con that I have the pleasure of attending for the past three years (and honor of speaking at the last two). Even if you don’t speak, though, I *highly* recommend pre-registering for the convention. Unlike most of the other “hacker” cons (I use quotes because it really is much more than that), NOTACON is generally small and always a fun experience for both the veteran con-goer and the n00b.
Now that I’m done (temporarily) with my not-so-poetic waxing, I’ll give a brief update on the talk that Rain and I are working on. As I explained in a previous post, Rain and I are working on a follow-up talk to last year’s Neurohacking 101 talk. For those of you who weren’t there last year, fear not! We’re also planning on reviving and revising the talk soon to present at other cons (post on that later). Projects being discussed in the (hopefully) upcoming 102 talk include:
-Mint tin lie detector
-DIY EKG
-Open EEG
-Brain machine
-Stroboscopic glasses
-And more!
That’s enough update for you now. Go. Pre-register early and often. If you can’t make it, remember that they are transferable after you bought them. Go. Now!
xoxo,
Tottie

Ok, since I’m kinda lazy and want to make this easy I’m going to just bullet point this.
So. It’s also time for a hint towards the little announcement. Although it doesn’t technically count for the next post (coming up later tonight), there will be daily updates and there will eventually be something for everybody. Until then…

Tottie
